Oh no, I'm sorry about the Medium trouble! It's definitely a weakness of the platform that comments appear in the same place as "Stories." It would help us a lot if they were separated. I always just go to my "Stats" page to see a list of all my actual articles.

Do you normally browse Medium from a phone? I've noticed that I can only add private notes from my computer. I simply highlight a piece of text, but then instead of hitting the highlight, comment, or tweet button, there's a 4th button that looks like a speech bubble (speech rectangle) with a keylock inside it. If you click that, it lets you do a private note that only the author will be able to see!

I understand if you have to remove old comments for privacy concerns! And if your name suddenly changes to Polly PhD or Folly Choice Parolee or Jolly Choice Carefree, I promise I'll still recognize you. ^_^ Can't wait to read your second story! <3
