These were good reminders for me, Shruthi! I always wonder what would happen if I could get myself to breathe deeply and be frequently aware of my breathing all throughout the day every day... I'm just glad someone taught me to do that years ago and that I'm grateful for every breath at least some of the time!
I also want to get some good voice recognition technology so I can record my voice and have it translate into text. Freewriting is nice but sometimes thinking out loud with voice recording helps slow down my mind in a different way.
Lists like this are very successful on Medium. A piece like this would go great in The Ascent! It's one of my favorite self-growth publications.
