Thanks for sharing, Reverie. :) I find this topic so fascinating. It’s hard for me to say when a form of distracting myself (or a boundary against a potential distraction) was necessary or not, or which habit would have led to the best outcome. All I can do is just share what the experience has felt like so far and guess my way forward. I love supporting each other to live our most conscious and happy lives. 💓

I’m glad the videos were there when you needed them to stay strong for work — which I really admire you for; both your resilience from that traumatic situation and your disciplined investment in the long-term future. Now maybe you will be finding your away from YouTube or find a different balance with the habit. I’m cheering you on. As for me, I may figure out a balance with music soon so I feel groovy listening to it on my own again. 🤔 For you it is essential.
