Thank you for taking the time to share so much wisdom, Antoni. It’s joyous how much you’ve gotten out of both Ruiz’s and Serano’s work. I sympathize a lot with what you said about transmedicalism and crossdressers—we are in this together, and we don't need to suffer the worst dysphoria in order to prove that we are who we are. “I am who I am” is an amazing mantra. It sums up my hard-fought conclusion too. I'll remember this phrase you told me. :)
You’ve had to grapple with gender incongruence and society’s misconceptions for a much longer time and through less accepting decades than I have. I commend your journey and am really happy about the place you’ve arrived at now. Your life story is gorgeous.
It's not too often I link one of my own articles in a reply to a comment, but... We're both on the asocial side, so I wondered if you would relate to this one as well. It's a comedy article about being an extreme introvert during COVID-19, and secretly being in heaven because of the social distancing. 🥰️ Hahahaha. Like with gender, there might be common bonds in our asocial experience as well as other ways your path has been different. Have a wonderful day, Antoni!
