Nudity-Friendly, I Envision a More Clothing-Optional Society

Your body is beautiful and okay the way it is

Recently, I put up sticky notes on my walls, affirming the kinder world for all that I believe in. The sticky notes also encourage me to take great care of myself, and be an animal and human rights ally.

“GET NAKED. I love your body, princess! 🌟”

I put up that one because it reminds me that our bodies are inherently royal.

While I love clothing—it’s extremely useful—I think the stigma against nudity hurts our body image and confidence. It may also reinforce the idea that humans are the only animals who matter. If we didn’t view nudity as a sin, we could more easily see our oneness with other sentient beings.

I envision a more clothing-optional society. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. I think that gradually making nudity acceptable in more situations would be a good change.

What inspired me, exactly? Here’s why I’m passionate about nudity friendliness.
