Mychael! It’s great to hear from you. Sorry I’ve been out of touch. I’m wanting to read your article that I just spotted about animals (not) being “voiceless!”

And thank you for pointing out that veganism describes what we do want, as opposed to being an “anti-.” For me, the word “vegan” is a very warm term as well; I love it.

Although I was contrasting “veganism” vs. “anti-speciesism” in this article, I think a lot of what I said could be boiled down to the general approach and arguments one is making, as opposed to the words themselves. I think I could keep what I said in mind (about prioritizing institutional change, for instance) while continuing to use the V word as my leading concept.
