Maj-le Bridges, I so admire your courage, thoughtfulness, and diplomacy. You acknowledge the existence of racial inequality and the need to discuss race, while also suggesting that some of our vocabulary for doing so may agitate guilt and anger, instead of building good relations which is our real goal. I LOVE the way you are replying to the comments on your article. You are a true bridge builder. An example of the kind of writer, thinker, and leader I want to be.

I will study your article again as I see what I can personally contribute to discussions on race and other sensitive topics. "Labels don't end racism, true human connections do." Those 8 words sum up so much. Thank you for writing!!
