I thought to myself, "This is one of the best articles about veganism I've ever read!"
I want to write more articles like this - helping people feel warmer towards vegan living by showing the personal benefits of the kindness it can instill.
From reading this a couple times and mulling it all over while I ate, I just started 4 new drafts of vegan-related articles. I've been nudging myself to write more about veganism because of the magnitude of potential impact. The topics I was inspired to write more about from reading your article were:
1. how the mindset of veganism helps me when making other habit changes
2. how vegans are sometimes thought of as acting superior, but if you go about it right it can help with feeling equal to everyone (like the experience you had with your high school classmates)
3. changing our attitudes towards insects
4. asking what if we experience our impacts on others when we die, as an exercise to encourage altruism
Climate change is something I've wanted to become more thoroughly informed about, so I can write about that topic too in the future; let me know if you have a resource recommendation!
Powerful choices of the two sources/links used in this article, Kate! And I can't wait to read your poem to your dog! <3
