I love the describability of the mean wage movement. I love the point you made that the global mean wage of $10K is already triple or more what half the human population lives off!
The answers to objections were well-done as well. The communism one is fascinating. If people give up their wealth voluntarily, and pressure billionaires to do the same, it seems like a great middle ground between competitive capitalism and government-enforced equality.
Now I'm left wondering how you balance between donating your income, and investing it for a rainy day or retirement. Is the idea to just give away immediately whatever exceeds $10K (or whatever one's comfortable target amount)? Then you divide up the rest between now and later?
As you can tell from my highlights, I always eat up your ecofrugality journey. I might email you some questions and/or reader requests! Thank you so much for writing, Joe. I am so glad you are creating this book instead of electrical engineering. :D
