How the World Will Be Better When Humans Actually Care About Animals

The year is 2087. I’m 95, and I live in a world where humans actually care about animals. We are so grateful.

In this day and age, science = nonviolence. Fishes replenish oceans and rivers, free from human invasion. Environmentalists team up with zoologists. Together, they help repair the damage to Mother Earth while raising the life satisfaction and reducing the agony of individual animals. For them and for us, life in nature has never been a walk in the park.

History describes the transition that happened when animal abuse industries went away. People got better jobs while animals got free.

School buses pull up at our local Animal Liberation Museum. There, exhibits like the Factory Farming Hall of Forgiveness, and the Animal Testing Memorial, honor historic victims. Generations to come will know the importance of treating all beings with respect. Cultures across the globe embed empathy for all.

What helps a lot is that billionaires went extinct. We abolished involuntary poverty. Society restructured so that every human’s basic need is met. Clean food, free health care, and a safe place to live? We all have it now.
