Great article! You have thought about the science-spirituality split more than I have, and tracked the many situations in which this artificial separation occurs. My main takeaway is that both science and spirituality aim to understand the nature of reality. There are questions the scientific method cannot answer, so it makes sense to use both (each in a curious, non-dogmatic way).

What I am wondering now is: How does the process compare, between science and spirituality, for ascertaining what is true? Using the scientific method, a theory can be said to be true if it proves useful for making accurate predictions (e.g. gravity predicts the way an object falls). Likewise, do we determine that spiritual concepts are true if and when they yield useful results?

Maybe I will get a chance to ask you more about science and spirituality soon! 😁
